PDO stands for Polydioxanone, a colorless, crystalline, biodegradable polymer. It has been used for over 20 years in orthopedics, surgery, plastic surgery and ophthalmology. PDO Threads are absorbable sutures that have a high safety profile, are completely absorbent and when used, have minimal tissue reaction.
